In 2006 Jerry Saltz announced "of 297 one-person shows by living artists just 23 percent are solos by women."¹ This shocking statistic highlights the art community's need to recognize the disparities that continue to exist.

Please join us as we will honor those galleries that have a history of fostering the careers of women artists.
