Want to shape A.I.R. Gallery’s final season in Brooklyn? As we prepare for our upcoming move, A.I.R. invites artists and curators to be a part of this closing chapter by submitting a proposal for an exhibition at our DUMBO location in August 2026. Proposals for both solo artist exhibitions and curated group shows are welcome. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until all slots are filled.

BENEFITS

Each exhibition selected by the A.I.R. Exhibitions Committee will be on view at the gallery for 3 weeks. A.I.R. staff are available to provide professional curatorial support for the successful production of the exhibition. In addition, the gallery will also assist with exhibition promotion to our press contacts and newsletter and social network subscribers. The gallery welcomes artists and curators to propose public programs related to the exhibition.

EXHIBITION COST

  • Gallery I: $4,500

  • Gallery II: $3,000

  • Gallery III: $3,000

Exhibition costs contribute to organizational overhead for the exhibition period at a subsidized rate.

GALLERY SPACE

A.I.R. Gallery maintains three exhibition spaces: Gallery I, II, and III. We are currently soliciting proposals for Galleries II & III. Please see our floor plan here and consider this in your proposal. In your application, please specify which gallery space(s) you are applying for. You are welcome to propose an exhibition that will take place in multiple galleries, or just one.
