Elisabeth Waterston

Site, 2011, Watercolor and gouache on paper, 5 x 7 inches

Born in Paris in 1977, Elisabeth was raised in a family of artists, and developed a love for painting at an early age, in the studios of her uncle, an abstract painter, and grandmother, a landscape and portrait painter. She began studying art in high school, and went on to receive her BA in painting from Yale, where she participated in group exhibitions at the University and in New Haven. She resumed her practice in earnest in 2006, and her paintings have since been seen and purchased at open studio events.
