A.I.R. Gallery is pleased to present Moving Van, a benefit exhibition featuring work by over 25 A.I.R. community members. Ahead of a historic return to our Downtown Manhattan roots this fall, we are hosting a benefit auction and Moving Party in celebration of two decades of feminist art in Brooklyn. Proceeds will directly support the renovation of our new Manhattan home, benefiting programs that provide essential support and visibility to underrepresented women and non-binary artists.
A.I.R. Gallery is a feminist, artist-directed, nonprofit arts organization and alternative exhibition space for women and non-binary artists. Founded in 1972 by a collective of twenty women artists, A.I.R. has been a vital refuge and support system for underrepresented artists for over half a century. Throughout our programming—including free year-round visual art exhibitions, monthly community events, and fellowship opportunities for emerging and mid-career women and non-binary artists—A.I.R. centers polyvocality, creative risk-taking, and feminist community building.
