Rex Works is a series of postcard-size paintings/collages. Each piece starts with a snippet from a daily comic strip Rex Morgan, M.D. The starting points are not used narratively but rather for visual extensions of the stylized images. The works conjure up unexpected spaces and associations, while often retaining the intimacy of the comics, exaggerating the expressive elements.
